Please be aware that Dental Monitoring does not provide any clinical diagnosis and is intended to be used under an orthodontist’s care only. To discuss your treatment in detail, please talk to your Dental Monitoring Provider.

CAN DENTAL MONITORING WORK FOR ME?

Dental Monitoring is designed to work on most treatment plans or post-treatment follow-ups, from regular brackets, to lingual orthodontics or removable pre-planned aligners.

DO I NEED TO USE THE DENTAL MONITORING CHEEK RETRACTOR?

Dental Monitoring has been designed to provide your practitioner with the best result possible.  The quality of the results is linked to the quality of the pictures taken with the application.

Therefore, it is mandatory to use the Dental Monitoring cheek retractor.

HOW DO I RECOGNIZE THE DENTAL MONITORING CHEEK RETRACTOR?

The patented Dental Monitoring cheek retractor has been designed with 4 dots on the front side to help the predictive algorithm identify the usable region of your mouth. Without it, the picture analysis is not possible.

HOW DO I USE THE DENTAL MONITORING APPLICATION?

Dental  Monitoring combines the most advanced research in control vision technology with dedicated patented optimization algorithms, in order to create the first self-monitoring service in dental-care.

IS DENTAL MONITORING REPLACING MY ORTHODONTIST?

Dental Monitoring gives orthodontists the tools to better help their patients while increasing their own knowledge.

In no way can Dental Monitoring replace your orthodontist’s expertise.  Therefore, you still need to coordinate your visits with your orthodontist – but you may just need fewer of them!

WHERE IS DENTAL MONITORING AVAILABLE?

Dental Monitoring only requires an Internet connection for the orthodontist, and a smartphone for the patient. As long as these two requirements are fulfilled, the Dental Monitoring App is available.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Ask your orthodontist if he/she is a Dental Monitoring provider.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO USE THE DENTAL MONITORING APPLICATION?

Dental Monitoring is designed to work at all ages.

CAN I USE DENTAL MONITORING BY MYSELF?

You will need a friend or family member to help you take the required photos (After all, you only have two hands!) This is the best way to easily obtain good quality photos and therefore precise measurements for the orthodontist.

We are currently developing a self-method to take photos in front of a mirror.  Testing will soon be finished.

WHICH DEVICES IS DENTAL MONITORING COMPATIBLE WITH?

Dental Monitoring is compatible with:

  • iPhones 4S or higher with iOS 7 or later.
  • Android phones running Android 4.0.3 or higher.
